Impakter needed to bridge the gap between impact journalism and actionable ESG data. The platform had to serve two distinct audiences — consumers seeking sustainable brand recommendations and institutional investors needing structured ESG ratings — while maintaining editorial independence and data integrity.

Developed a hybrid content and data platform using Next.js for the editorial frontend with server-side rendering for SEO. Built a company rating engine that aggregates ESG metrics from multiple data sources into a unified sustainability score. Created separate interfaces for editorial workflows and data management while sharing the underlying data layer.

Platform serves a growing audience of sustainability-conscious readers and institutional users. ESG ratings cover hundreds of companies across multiple sectors. The editorial platform has published thousands of articles with strong organic search performance.
